Hanaeleh is offering a summer internship for up to five individuals for the summer. The internship will run from July 1st and run through August 17th. Interns will meet from 8am-11am every Tuesday and Thursday and 4:30pm-6:30pm every Monday and Wednesday. Chickens
Hanaeleh has three resident chickens on the property- Samantha (4 years), Ursula (1 year) and Endora (1 year). All three are named after the characters in the television sitcom Bewitched. All three hens are leghorns and do lay eggs. They are very helpful around the ranch, however, as they eat icky bugs that would otherwise get into the grain. Gypsy
Gypsy was a wild Mustang, living in California and Nevada before her family was herded up and thrown into holding pens, then separated from one another. If Gypsy's experience was like most wild horse roundups, several of her fellow herd members, including foals, were killed. Hanaeleh intervened when Gypsy's owner posted her as a "free horse."
