We have been contacted by a woman whose horses were sold by her ex-husband without her knowledge. She is desperately trying to find them and get them back. The horses were last stabled near Lake Mathews in Riverside, CA. Bonnie is a 12 y/o chestnut paint mare. She has 3 white socks and a white blaze. UPDATE: Lexie’s New Home
Last Saturday we drove Lexie up to her new home in Bakersfield. She did very well on the trip up- walked right into the trailer, and was quiet the entire ride. Her new owner will be Jeff, a young boy with autism who wants a horse of his own to love and to walk around the arena right outside of his home. Cherokee is a 12 year-old chestnut Appendix (Thoroughbred/Quarter Horse cross) gelding. He is registered by the AQHA. His registered name is Joel's Man, Registration #X0612628. His birthday is March 28, 2002. Cherokee is about 16 hands. He is very sweet and good on the trail, although he has a very fast trot. He ties at a rail, but does not like crossties. Update: Lexie has a home!
Update: We have a home for Lexie, the Quarter horse we rescued in December. She is going to a wonderful family in Bakersfield and will help their 11 year-old son learn how to ride.
