We rescued Delilah when her owner abandoned her at a neighboring facility. She had a nail stuck in her foot from a shoe that had twisted, and had been left in a stall for months. It took several months for us to put weight back on her, and then also to get Delilah pain-free. She is now able to be ridden, and is a very sweet girl. Orange County, CA: Lexie- older QH mare needs home!
Lexie is a Quarter horse mare we posted in December. She was going to be sent to the auction, and most likely end up with a killer buyer. A person offered to take Lexie for her lesson program, but her vet said that Lexie would not be able to perform the work required for her program. Lexie was a trained show horse, and did reining and barrel racing in her younger days. Lexie is very sweet and really likes kids.
