Hanaeleh's interns finished their 6 week program last week with a final and a sensory clinic. At the clinic, the interns worked the horses around plastic bags, tarps, umbrellas, ladders, mazes, balls, etc. All of the horses (except Ulysses) went through the clinic and all of them did very well! Beware the “52” Horses Post!
Hello all! There are e-mails and viral social media posts that have been around for a few years saying that "52 Thoroughbreds need homes or they will be sent to slaughter." This were valid posts in 2011, but the horses were all saved, and now this just gets randomly circulated every six months or so. Hanaeleh Summer Internship
Hanaeleh is offering a summer internship for up to five individuals for the summer. The internship will run from July 1st and run through August 17th. Interns will meet from 8am-11am every Tuesday and Thursday and 4:30pm-6:30pm every Monday and Wednesday. It is not mandatory that interns attend every session, although individuals who are able to attend through the entire summer will have priority. This is an unpaid internship.
