Hanaeleh was contacted about a family who needs help placing one of their horses. They have been having financial difficulties and need to find him a home, preferably before the end of the month when board is due. We are so happy to report that Zebedee is doing wonderfully in his new home! His new owner has renamed him Ash, because her grey Andalusian is named Smokey. His new owner says, "He has found his forever home! He is timid by very sweet and has melded right into my little herd... [he] is just darling. He is SO willing." We are so happy for Zebedee/Ash! Update: Zebedee has a new home!
We are so happy to announce that the little pony Zebedee found a lovely new home! He will be the companion to a beautiful Andalusian who looks like a larger Zebedee! He will also have a Quarter horse, a mini, and a pig to keep him company. Two years ago, Zebedee was used as a tripping horse in manganas. Manganas are events wherein charros will rope the horse's legs and throw them to the ground. New Pony at Hanaeleh
OMG we have a pony! Zebedee is a little grey 8 year-old Welsh cross pony and he is absolutely adorable. He is staying with us due to overflow from the Sylmar fires, but he is also up for adoption! Zebedee was rescued two years ago from an auction. He had been used by charros for roping/tripping practice, and when his owner took him he had scars on his legs from the ropes.
