Trabuco Canyon, CA: 7 y/o Quarter Horse Needs Home

August 13, 2019 By ezarkos

We were contacted last week about a horse who needs a home. Remi is a 7 y/o Quarter horse who has been diagnosed with a bone chip and contusion in one of his legs. He needs several months, up to a year, before he will be sound and rideable again. His owner does not have the ability to care for him during that time. Remi does not have an adoption fee, but will need someone who is willing to take the time to rehabilitate him. We are hoping that someone might have a pasture or backyard available … [Read more...]

Phelan, CA: 20 y/o Arabian Gelding Needs Home

August 13, 2019 By ezarkos

We were contacted by a woman who is trying to help a horse at her barn. The owner, an elderly woman, passed away, and no one wanted her horse. A woman at the barn offered to help find him a home. Jackson is a 20 y/o bay Arabian gelding. He is rideable, and was being ridden by his owner who was 70 years old, before she passed away. He is very sweet and loves attention. Jackson is missing some back teeth so he needs to eat pellets that have been soaked in water, but otherwise he is very … [Read more...]

Cody Has A New Home!

August 12, 2019 By ezarkos

A few weeks ago we posted about Cody, a Missouri Foxtrotter whose owner no longer had much time for him. We are happy to say that Cody has a wonderful new home! We had several people interested in adopting Cody, and we had a few people come out to ride him to see if he would be a good fit for them. He stayed with his previous owner, Stephanie, and she did all of the hard work- talking to prospective owners and showing Cody to them. Although the people who did come out to see him were … [Read more...]
