Riverside CA: Two Standardbreds Need Homes

Two off-track Standardbreds need home - please see description and contact info below (this is a courtesy posting- Hanaeleh does not have these horses!). Auction Horses Rescue was able to save two Off The Track Standardbreds from auction last Saturday night (1/18/14). Lexie is a Quarter horse mare we posted in December. She was going to be sent to the auction, and most likely end up with a killer buyer. A person offered to take Lexie for her lesson program, but her vet said that Lexie would not be able to perform the work required for her program.  Lexie was a trained show horse, and did reining and barrel racing in her younger days.
