September 20, 2019 By ezarkos

We were contacted by someone in Trabuco Canyon (south Orange County) who is looking to find a good home for Candy, a 14 year-old brown and white Paint mare. Candy is about 16 hands and is healthy and up-to-date on her vet/farrier care. Candy was given to her current owner when another family member could no longer keep her. Unfortunately, Candy is food aggressive, and is not getting along well with the person's other horse, who is now suffering. She would do well if she were in her own stall … [Read more...]

RIP Onyx

September 16, 2019 By ezarkos

We have the very sad news to report that we had to make the very difficult decision to say goodbye to our girl, Onyx. For those who may not remember, we took in this poor girl last year as she was literally dying from her lack of care. Her owner continued to ride her even when she had abscesses, excessive ringbone and sidebone. He refused to have her feet done, even when a farrier offer to trim her feet for free. Onyx obviously suffered from Cushings disease, but he refused to treat her … [Read more...]
