Sensory Clinic Completes Hanaeleh’s Summer Internship Program

Hanaeleh's interns finished their 6 week program last week with a final and a sensory clinic.  At the clinic, the interns worked the horses around plastic bags, tarps, umbrellas, ladders, mazes, balls, etc. All of the horses (except Ulysses) went through the clinic and all of them did very well!  Quixote surprised us all by not caring about the plastic bags and by walking over the tarp with no issues!  Cricket and Rio were the Queen and King of the sensory clinic, however, by barely even … [Read more...]

Hello all! There are e-mails and viral social media posts that have been around for a few years saying that "52 Thoroughbreds need homes or they will be sent to slaughter." This were valid posts in 2011, but the horses were all saved, and now this just gets randomly circulated every six months or so.
