We had the vet out to see Savannah today. The general prognosis is that there may be some navicular changes, but that she should be sound as a walk/trot horse for arena work or for mild trail riding (mostly flat). Savannah 17-year old Paint/Pinto/Quarter Mix Mare Rescued April 2, 2012 Adoption pending Savannah is a 17 year-old pinto mare. She was rescued from Apple Valley with a foal at her side. The people who rescued her found a foal for her home but her owner had financial issues and could not longer care for her.
