Venus’s Road to Recovery: A Heartwarming Update

January 22, 2025 By ezarkos

Venus is a very sweet Rocky Mountain Horse we rescued from a "rescue" in Summer 2018. Venus' left eye was cloudy due to several wooden splinters that had she had gotten in them while turned out in the "rescue's" rickety paddocks. Immunovet EQ

January 14, 2025 By ezarkos

Horses who were fed Immunovet EQ were calmer and seemed happier overall- a horse with a healthy GI tract is a happy horse!

Hanaeleh participated in a short trial, feeding Immunovet EQ fermented wheat germ extract (FWGE) to six of our horses for 45 days. It comes in a powder form, and was easy to add to their grain. Because it is fermented, it is much more stable than other wheat germ options, and has a longer shelf life. It also comes in a specially-designed canister that helps to keep it fresh. We were especially impressed with the benefits of Immunovet EQ, including improving GI issues and decreasing … [Read more...]

Five people standing underneath a shelter.

L.A. Fires Our hearts have been heavy in watching the destruction of the fires in L.A. and seeing the loss of both property and of life. We know firsthand that evacuations are incredibly frightening and stressful, and the aftermath of an evacuation can be as stressful as the evacuation itself. So many people and animals are displaced and their world has been turned upside down. We have fielded several phone calls from people who were looking for placement for their horses. By now most people … [Read more...]
