Hanaeleh was recently contacted by a trainer who has been working with a three year-old Mustang filly, from the Three Fingers Herd in Oregon. The filly has been in training since September. She had some basic ground work and desensitizing training and was beginning to be worked under saddle when she began to come up lame. UPDATE: We have rescued Lou Dillon and his friend, who we have named Sweet Pea. We are still accepting donations (we are a 501C3 nonprofit so donations are tax deductible). Click HERE. Hanaeleh is working on the rescue of a frightened, skinny horse found walking down the street in Watts (CA). Equine Advocacy: Hanaeleh’s Response to Criticism about Being “Political”
We live in an incredibly polarized time right now, and people's tempers get high when they feel that their personal moral beliefs are being challenged. Our goal at Hanaeleh is not to choose a political side, but to point out issues that affect animals- horses, specifically.
