Orange County, CA: 7-8 y/o Thoroughbred Gelding- Needs Home!

We received a call that a local stable has a 7-8 year-old Thoroughbred gelding who was abandoned by his owner.  Apparently she moved and decided it was too expensive to move him, and too much trouble to bother trying to find him a home beforehand.  The woman has signed him off to the stable, and they called us to see if we could take him instead of sending him to the auction. Great news!  We heard from Pepper's owner that someone is going to help take on the costs of Pepper!  The best news is that Pepper will stay at the stable where he has lived for the past several years, and his stablemate Mocha will be able to keep him as his friend for now. :) We are so very happy that the network has helped take the financial burden off of Pepper's owner, while also helping to pair up Pepper with a new potential owner. Somis, CA: QH mare abandoned- needs home!

A woman in Somis, CA reached out to us- two weeks ago she found this Quarter horse mare just wandering around her neighborhood. She has tried to find the owners but has come to the conclusion that the horse was abandoned.  She would like to find this horse a safe home and would rather not send her to the shelter.
