Sapphire 24-year-old Thoroughbred Mare Rescued September 6, 2008 Sapphire is about 16.1 hands.  Sapphire was a previous show horse, and she has been trained both for jumping and dressage. She also does very well on trail, on the street, and was ridden in the Swallow's Day Parade. She has done well in sensory clinics and goes through water and obstacles.
