Born April 27, 1985 Rescued July 1, 2007 Adopted October 11, 2007   Andante was one of four horses that Hanaeleh took in when they were told of a woman who had passed away suddenly when her tractor flipped backwards onto her. Andante is a registered Tennessee Walking Horse with a very smooth gait. Baron- Dangerous Destiny

Born May 6, 2000 Rescued January 1, 2008 Adopted April 3, 2011 Baron is a registered Tennessee Walking Horse who was given to his owner when her horse passed away, but she was not physically able to handle him. He ended up staying in his stall, becoming more and more shy and apprehensive. Zorro

Rescued December 29, 2009 Passed April 7, 2013 Zorro was a Quarter Horse whose owner passed away. The owner’s brother contacted Red Bucket Equine Rescue, telling them that if they did not come and pick up the horse immediately, then he was going to sell him to slaughter.  Red Bucket could not take him, so they contacted Hanaeleh.  We, in turn, contacted Blue Apple Ranch in Ramona, who agreed to take this poor guy.  Zorro stayed at our facility for a short time until we took him down to his … [Read more...]

Cleopatra *Scarlett* Zarkos
