Cricket has a new home!

January 5, 2014 By ezarkos

Today we took Cricket to her new home!  Her new horsie mom is our volunteer coordinator Kaitlin, who fell in love with Cricket the minute she saw her cute little face (quite literally- she said she fell in love the minute she saw Cricket without her fly mask!).   They have been getting to know each other for the past several months and work well together. When we first got Cricket, we actually had to walk her to Hanaeleh (luckily she was local!) because she was so vehemently opposed to … [Read more...]

7 y/o black paint mare needs home ASAP. More information from her owner is below. Please contact her owner directly: Breanna 949-212-3303 trickpony@cox.net Keona is a black BS Paint, nearly 8 years old, 14.3 hands tall, and a healthy weight of 920 lbs. She gave birth at the Live Oak Stables in Trabuco … [Read more...]

Update: Lexie has a home!

December 16, 2013 By ezarkos

Orange County, CA: 22 y/o Dutch Warmblood mare needs home

December 13, 2013 By ezarkos

"Jumara" is a very well bred 22-year-old imported Dutch Warmblood, used as a broodmare and dressage horse.  She is sound, barefoot, and a relatively easy keeper as long as she's not in a pasture environment.  (She is the lowest in the pecking order and loses weight from not standing up for herself.)  She is a sweet girl, and very sensitive, so will need a kind rider.  She is currently being ridden in dressage at the OC Fairgrounds. Jumara was adopted earlier this year, but her owner can no … [Read more...]
