Apollo is a Thoroughbred who was trained as a jumper, but who was owned by a woman who wanted to show dressage. The owner contact Hanaeleh, telling us that she could no longer afford Apollo, but in reality she was frustrated with him. Apollo’s first ride with us looked more like a rodeo than a dressage show, and we determined that most of his issues stemmed from a lack of muscling and inability to use himself correctly. We retrained him and built up his back muscle, and he never bucked with us again. He was adopted by a very wonderful couple, Katie and Stephen, and they are currently riding him and plan on showing him in the future! He is a very loved boy!
