Update: We received word from the owner that the horses have found homes. Thank you to everyone who helped to network them!
These three horses need homes immediately. They were adopted from the Lancaster animal shelter in 2008. The owner has passed away and the horses need to be picked up from the property immediately (by Friday at the latest). If they are not picked up by Friday, they will go back to the shelter. Unfortunately, we have been told that the shelter is full at this time, so we are not certain what will become of these or the other shelter horses.
Please contact the daughter directly if you are able to take one or any of the horses. The daughter says that the horses are in need of farrier/dental care. We have very little information otherwise on these horses- the daughter is trying to help, but unfortunately she doesn’t know much about horses. We believe there are two geldings (one fleabitten and one white) and one a mare (fleabitten). The male white horse we do know is named Maverick.
The pictures are from 2008 when they were at the shelter. We will update with more current pictures when we receive them.
