Santa’s Special Visit to Hanaeleh’s Horses

December 25, 2024 By ezarkos

‘Twas the Saturday before Xmas and that means we had our annual Hanaeleh holiday party for all of our volunteers and their families. Javier (our former caretaker who also has a great catering business!) made the yummy food for us, which was wonderful as always! The best part was being able to sit down and hang out with one another.

Actually, that was actually the second-best part. The BEST part was SANTA!

Santa actually was able to take time from his busy schedule to ask all of the horses what they wanted him to bring them! Oddly enough, almost every horse said they just wanted some carrots or apples, although Gypsy had a pretty extensive list.

Darcy, Andromeda and Venus aren’t allowed to have carrots or apples due to health reasons, so they asked for celery and sugar-free treats!

We are so thankful for all of our wonderful volunteers and supporters, and we hope that your holidays are filled with laughter with family and friends.*

*And Gypsy would like to add that if you have any extra sugar cookies you’re not going to eat this year, she’s more than willing to help you out.

Lunch time!
