Socks is a 13 year-old bay Paso Fino gelding. He is healthy and is currently only on hay (no supplements). He is barefoot and sound. He does have a club foot, but it doesn’t affect him as long as he has regular farrier trims.
We were contacted a woman who rescued Socks a few years ago. Unfortunately she has medical issues that prevent her for caring for him, and would like to find him a new home with someone who has the ability to better care for him.
Socks has worked with trainers and has been ridden both English and western, but he is still relatively green and would require an experienced rider. His owner does not use a bit with him because he is very sensitive, and she says that he is very responsive.
His owner is working on getting his vaccinations current and a teeth float.
