We were contacted by a woman who is looking to rehome her 12 year-old Arabian mare. Mera is up-to-date on all of her vaccinations and teeth. She has been used as a trail horse for the past two years, riding in the mountains. Her owner no longer has time to ride her due to health issues, and Mera needs to get out everyday.
Mera had a best “horsie” friend for a time when she was in the mountains, but for the most part she does not like other horses close to her. She does not have papers, but the owner was told that her dam was an Arabian cow horse/roper cross.
Mera is good on the ground, and works well with voice commands, but she needs an experienced rider, and has bucked off people who are not experienced. Mera would be an excellent horse for someone who wants to ride everyday.
Mera is NOT at Hanaeleh. If you are interested in Mera, or would like more information, please contact her owner Elaine directly: epfos1@hotmail.com
