TUPELO – A630892 – FEMALE, BROWN ARABIAN
This animal came to the shelter on 3/18/2014 as STRAY FIELD Shelter Staff Aged Me At: 15 YEARS

This approximately 15 year old Arabian mix came to the shelter as a stray with one other horse A630894 that had been abandoned near the finders property. She is friendly and ridable according to finder who has horse experience and saddled her for further evaluation prior to calling our department. She is underweight but gaining and looking better already. She is adoptable or rescue eligible and we will hold until 4/20/14 Dickinson

ATTICUS – A630890 –  GELDING, BROWN THOROUGHBRED / QUARTER HORSE

This animal came to the shelter on 3/18/2014 as STRAY FIELD. Shelter Staff Aged Me At: 19 YEARS

This approximately 19 year old horse was found tied to a fence on a county street and impounded as a stray. No owner has come forward and he needs a new home where he will be taken care of. He has a bit of lameness in his left rear leg which we think is ligament or tendon related and should heal with rest, relaxation and time as radiographs did not show any skeletal damage. He was also very underweight at time of impound but is gaining weight here at the shelter. He is very friendly and loads well in a trailer so must have had some training along the way. Will hold for rescue or adoption until 4/20/14 Dickinson

SASSY – A630894 – \FEMALE, GRAY ARABIAN / QUARTER HORSE

This animal came to the shelter on 3/18/2014 as STRAY FIELD Shelter Staff Aged Me At: 5 YEARS

This young approximately 5 year old high energy mare was found running at large with another horse and confined by a county resident. She came in with Tupelo and both were tested with saddles and riders by finder and ridden, both are a little rusty with riding manners but hopefully once out of the shelter and worked with on regular basis their manners will return. This is the youngest and she is a bit nervous with not much ground manners. Will hold for adoption or rescue until 4/20/14 Dickinson
