We just received word that Mattie has found a lovely new home, thanks to all of the people who helped to share her post! Thank you so much again for all of your help! We hope that Mattie and her new family have a lot of fun adventures together!
Mattie is a 25 year-old registered Missouri Fox Trotter. She is a buckskin, about 15 hands, in good health, and is barefoot with no issues. Her owners are older and having health issues, which is why they are looking for a new home for her.
Mattie has a very calm temperament- her only dislike is large trucks. She hasn’t been ridden in a few years, but was a good trail horse- she will need a bit of a refresher to get her fit again though (her owner has been unable to ride). She is an easy keeper, and loves to eat. She has had a lot of different animal friends- horses, llamas, chickens, goats, etc. with no issues.
