We celebrated our Hanaeleh Halloween costume contest last Saturday 10/18 by dressing up (most of) the horses in very silly costumes! They all were great sports about the entire affair. And shout out to our other horses (who aren’t really into Halloween): Freeda, Frederick, Ulysses, Garnet, Star and newest rescue Maritza for cheering on their horsie friends!

Here are all the horses who dressed up, with a little help from our awesome volunteers:

- Lou Dillon- A S’more (His posse, Dan, Susan and Joyce, were the individual marshmallow, chocolate and graham cracker)

- Darcy- bumblebee (April was also a bumblebee, and Jackie was a butterfly, chased by butterfly enthusiast Ethan)

- Ollie- Superman (Ayla was Supergirl… Superwoman?)

- Sierra- A beautiful fairy (Charlotte was also a fairy queen!)

- LadyBug- A ladybug (Leslie and Charlie were carrots!)
