Four years ago Lori and I drove out to the middle of the desert of nowhere, in 100+ degree weather, to pick up a horse who just “needed a few treats” in order to come. Once we arrived, however, we realized that we had to figure out very quickly exactly how to catch a wild Mustang who hadn’t been handled in months. Four hours later, with some twine, a few lead ropes and a lot of luck, and we had a little Mustang mare in the back of our trailer, heading for home.
And the rest, as they say, is history. Happy Rescue Day, Gypsy!
