Hanaeleh Workday/Open House 2/4/17

February 6, 2017 By ezarkos

Many thanks to all of those people who came out for our workday and open house this Saturday! We had volunteers from several organizations, including the Lions Club and Girl Scouts come out to help.

The Amish saying, “Many hands make light work,” is one of our mottos; by all of us working together, we are able to accomplish what we would never be able to accomplish by ourselves. The volunteers helped us by doing what we would not have been able to do on our own; they dug post holes for two new shelters we are putting up, and also moved two stalls that had moved over a foot and had been pressing on a water pipe. They were also incredible by putting down over 4,000 lbs. of gravel and sand on our driveway!

A huge thank you to all of those people who spent their Saturday morning at Hanaeleh. We appreciate everyone’s time and hard work!
