We had a great time at our 5K this morning! We had a great group of runners and walkers who participated this chilly Saturday in Rancho Santa Margarita.
We had some issues with marking the route and we had some runners go off-course because of it, but otherwise things seemed to go relatively smoothly! We’ve definitely learned a lot from this experience, and future events will be even better because of it!

Many thanks to Mike from Pacific Coast Race Timing (PCRT) who helped us with the logistics of the race, including the online form and timing. Thanks also to Carol for setting up the race and working with many groups, including the city, to get us the venue! Also, we have to thank ALL of our wonderful volunteers who came out to help this Saturday! Having so many people out there to help really made things so much easier!
Trader Joes donated bananas and oranges to the race, and real estate agent Becki Kolander donated water and muffins for the runners!
We also had a few booths out at the race, including Teddy’s Twisted Products, doTerra Essential Oils, and Amazing Lash Studio.
Our top men and women runners earned a trophy as well as a gift card to Robeck’s Smoothies, donated by Dan Richmond. All runners received a medal as well. Our top three fundraisers all received a trophy, too! Our largest team, Brutus, the Most Noblest Roman of Them All, was our most popular team!
