Gabriel is a little draft cross we rescued a few years ago- he had been purchased at an online auction in Louisiana and transported to California to be used as a therapeutic riding horse. Gabriel Returns to Hanaeleh
Last year we took in Gabriel, a cute little horse we were told was a Friesian cross. He's pretty small for a Friesian, but he's very cute, and has a lovely emo-type mane and tail! Gabriel was adopted out last year, but his owner contacted us this month and said that Gabriel was having issues under saddle and would be happier retired. Gabriel’s New Home!
Gabriel is a cute little Friesian cross who just hadn't found the right person. He was a failed lesson horse, a failed therapy horse (he kept stopping and refusing to go forward), and a failed cart horse (he didn't like pulling the cart). We knew that Gabriel had the right person out there; he just hadn't found that person yet.
