"Boss" is a 16 year old bay Peruvian Paso gelding who needs a home as soon as possible. His owner is moving and doesn't have the financial means to keep him. She rescued him from a neglect situation for her daughter, but her daughter is afraid of him because he is very shy. Neither the mother nor the daughter can give him the time he needs. As some of you may know, Apollo, who was adopted by Katie and Stephen a few years ago, colicced Saturday morning. It looked like he was doing well, but he took a turn for the worse on Saturday. The vet came out and after working with him for about an  hour, he was hopeful that he would get well, and Apollo's owners stayed with him all night. It's that spooky time of year again - that time when we dress horses up in silly outfits and parade them around the arena! That's right- it's Hanaeleh Halloween! Just as in years past, Hanaeleh Halloween will be held from 11am-1pm at Hanaeleh. 15 y/o 15 hand bay Appendix (Thoroughbred/Quarter horse cross) mare is in desperate need of a home. Bailey was abused by her previous owners and has trust issues.  She is blind in her left eye and has some missing patches of hair.  The owners say that she needs continued work on ground manners and trust.
