Based upon the poem, "A Visit from St. Nicholas" by Clement Clark Moore 'Twas a day in December, while at Hanaeleh Not a horsie was stirring, not even Lexie. The feeders were tied to the stalls with coarse twine, In hopes that on orchard the horses would dine. UPDATE: SAFE! Lancaster, CA: 3 Horses Need Homes ASAP

Update: We received word from the owner that the horses have found homes. Thank you to everyone who helped to network them! These three horses need homes immediately.  They were adopted from the Lancaster animal shelter in 2008.  The owner has passed away and the horses need to be picked up from the property immediately (by Friday at the latest).  If they are not picked up by Friday, they will go back to the shelter. I was watching 60 Minutes last night and one of the segments was on the idea of mindfulness. Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn was interviewed by Cooper Anderson, who attended one of his clinics.
