Hanaeleh Halloween

Hanaeleh will be holding its annual costume contest for its horses and a potluck for its volunteers and the public on Saturday, October 31st. The costume contest will be held in the Hanaeleh arena between 11am-12pm, and the potluck will go from 11am-1pm.  This is an excellent time to come out and meet the horses. Hanaeleh Work Day!

We had a number of wonderful people who came out to our workday this weekend!  We had Girl Scouts as well as volunteers from Assisteens, and people who just wanted to come out and help! Some of our volunteers helped to prune back our out-of-control garden, some helped to shore up our driveway, and others helped with various chores, including cleaning the bucket, cleaning the chicken coop, helping us move pellets and shavings, raking up leaves, etc.  These are things that we always need to do, … [Read more...]

Guests were invited to bid on silent auction items as well as greet the horses

We held our second annual "Evening at Hanaeleh" on September 26th.  We enjoyed having people out to see the horses and enjoy a little wine and beer.  Part of the evening included a video and a silent auction, which featured a painting by one of our horses, Quixote!
