Last week we posted about Marty, a 25 y/o Quarter horse gelding who was dumped in an almond grove (you can see his post here). He was starving, and ate almonds to stay alive before a kind woman saw him and rescued him. She has been trying to find someone who will take him, but it is obvious he needs a lot of veterinary care to get healthy, and no one wants to take on that responsibility. Keene, CA: 25 y/o Quarter Horse Gelding Needs Home!

Marty was abandoned in the orange groves in Bakersfield. He was covered in mud and hadn't been fed well, but was eating almonds to survive. A wonderful woman was able to save him from starving, but she is unable to keep him. Please note: Marty is NOT at Hanaeleh- he is in Keene, CA (near Bakersfield).
