Hanaeleh Gets a New Arena Sprinkler!
This week we purchased a new sprinkler for the arena! This sprinkler will help to keep the dust down and will also help improve the footing in the arena. The horses had mixed reactions to the sprinklers- some of them found the moving water scary, some of them just avoided the water altogether, and some of them used the sprinkler as a way to cool down! We Have New Water Tanks!
A few weeks ago we shared that our water main had broken, leaving us without water for the entire day that Sunday, and most of the following Monday. Of course, it happened to be in the high 90s both days. We knew that we had to figure out a way to keep the horses hydrated. Our solution was to buy every single one-gallon and 2.5 gallon jug we could find at the local grocery stores- we ended up with about 30 of each. Orange County, CA: URGENT, Looking for a short-term boarding solution for a QH mare
UPDATE: We were contacted by Ruby's owner- she was able to find a safe place for her horse. Thank you to everyone who helped share her post! We were contacted by a woman who has been caring for a 16 year-old Quarter horse mare named Ruby. Ruby is very sweet, not spooky, and is great with kids, animals and other horses- her owner says that she is not aggressive at all and is very low on the pecking order.
