Easy Street is a 15 y/o chestnut Thoroughbred who needs a very special home. Easy was purchased for $21,000 last year by a family for their daughter. He is very well-trained and was jumping 3-4' without a problem. He was thin when they purchased him, and thought that he just needed some weight put on him and he would be fine. When I got to Hanaeleh today, I was greeted by this little dude, who was just hangin' out on the ATV: I took a picture, and he just sat and stared at me the entire time, posing with his little head cocked to the side like that. Congratulations Interns!
This past week marked the end of our interns 6-week time at Hanaeleh. They worked on grooming, leading, longeing, saddling, etc. as well as learning about conformation, medical info, etc. We ended the internship with a small sensory clinic, with the horses and interns working with various different obstacles.
