Andromeda is a National Show Horse (Arabian and Saddlebred cross) who we rescued from a horse trader in November 2022. You can read about her rescue here. Hanaeleh’s Horses Get Microchips!
One of the things we do in preparation for fire season is microchipping all of our horses. While microchips are excellent for helping to identify horses who have been stolen, horses who are at an auction, they are also helpful in declaring ownership, especially during a natural disaster. Andromeda Gets New Boots!
Andromeda is a sweet little National Show Horse who we rescued from going to slaughter last year- she had been sold from one killer buyer to another, and no one at the auction would buy her- so we were really her only option.
