What can we say about our good-natured Tamahome, except to say that he is still awesome? OK, well, then- Tamahome is still awesome! He is currently living in a paddock with Sapphire and Ruby, and seems content with his small harem. He also gets to boss around the sheep and ignore the rooster, so he's a pretty busy boy. Delilah is a beautiful grey Thoroughbred who was adopted out several years ago by an incredible woman with a heart of gold! Shortly after she adopted her, Delilah became very sick and was diagnosed with an incredibly rare form of cancer. Almost every grey horse has some sort of melanoma, but they do not affect the lifespan of the horse. Update: Gypsy

Gypsy is a wild Mustang who came to Hanaeleh over a decade ago. After working with her for several years and not finding any decent adoption prospects, Elizabeth finally decided to adopt her. Gypsy seemed unsurprised by this, as she had already declared herself high ruler over all of the Hanaeleh horses. Gypsy continues to rule over all of the horses at Hanaeleh in her usually queenly way. We took Devon in this spring because, while recovering from suspensory issues at his barn, he had been infected with Equine Herpes Virus (EHV) by a visiting show horse. Although the veterinarians were able to save his life, he had a long road ahead of him, and needed a place to recover and possibly retire. His owner was going to another state to go to college, and also was dealing with medical issues. The family offered to help sponsor Devon if he could come to Hanaeleh.
