RIVERSIDE SHELTER, CA: PASO FINO needs adoption or Rescue! This lovely boy came in as a stray and with his mane like a bird's nest:-( We gave him a 'spa day' including a good bath and brushing. He tolerated the bath and absolutely loved the brushing. He's gained 50lbs in 2 weeks since these pics and is looking great. He's about 8 yrs and approximately 14 hands. Hello all! There are e-mails and viral social media posts that have been around for a few years saying that "52 Thoroughbreds need homes or they will be sent to slaughter." This were valid posts in 2011, but the horses were all saved, and now this just gets randomly circulated every six months or so. Princess is a 19 year-old paint mare who needs a home. She is registered with the Paint Horse Association (picture of her papers are below). Registration #218,129. Foaled 4/4/94. Registered name: DB Princess Chance. She is great with kids, but appears to have some sort of injury that prevents her from being ridden.
