***MORE UPDATES*** Buddy has been accepted into the Therapeutic Riding Center of Huntington Beach! We could not be happier! He looks so happy in all of his update photos and seems to be doing well there. We wish him happy trails with his new home and we know he is in a great place! Ferdinand!

On Sunday we welcomed Ferdinand into our flock of sheepies!  He was pretty sad to be separated from his other siblings, but Phillip and Magellan were very nice to him (well, Magellan did head-butt him once, but after that he was nice).   Ferdinand is Phillip and Magellan's half-brothers, so they are all family, after all. :) Ferdinand will stay in the sheep pen for a week or so until he gets settled in with our routine, and then he can come out with Phillip and Magellan to graze around the … [Read more...]

Sensory Clinic Completes Hanaeleh’s Summer Internship Program

Hanaeleh's interns finished their 6 week program last week with a final and a sensory clinic.  At the clinic, the interns worked the horses around plastic bags, tarps, umbrellas, ladders, mazes, balls, etc. All of the horses (except Ulysses) went through the clinic and all of them did very well!  Quixote surprised us all by not caring about the plastic bags and by walking over the tarp with no issues!  Cricket and Rio were the Queen and King of the sensory clinic, however, by barely even … [Read more...]
