Sensory Clinic Completes Hanaeleh’s Summer Internship Program

August 20, 2013 By ezarkos

Hanaeleh’s interns finished their 6 week program last week with a final and a sensory clinic.  At the clinic, the interns worked the horses around plastic bags, tarps, umbrellas, ladders, mazes, balls, etc. All of the horses (except Ulysses) went through the clinic and all of them did very well!  Quixote surprised us all by not caring about the plastic bags and by walking over the tarp with no issues!  Cricket and Rio were the Queen and King of the sensory clinic, however, by barely even reacting to anything.

We are very proud of our interns this summer- we had three lovely young women complete the entire program and they all worked very well with the horses.  We would also be remiss if we did not mention the help of our two assistant trainers who helped work and train the interns this summer as well.

Congratulations to all! 🙂
