Delilah is an 8 year-old Thoroughbred mare who is looking for a home! She was abandoned at a neighbor’s stable after suffering with a nail embedded in her hoof for a period of time. She was emaciated and in pain when we took her in; she has gained about 400 pounds and looks great! We have had a few volunteers who have spent many hours working with her on sensory items, and we have been working with her under saddle. She is very gentle and sweet and we are looking for someone who is experienced to continue her training. She needs someone kind and patient to work with her- she LOVES positive reinforcement!
Delilah worked well under saddle and on the longe line this weekend! She looked like an Easter Egg all decked out in pink!
