Hanaeleh was contacted by a trainer who is trying to find a home for a 20 year-old Warmblood. One of her clients owned him, but he died suddenly and the family does not have the financial means to keep him.
Amadeus is a 20 year-old Warmblood gelding. He is 17 hands. In his former career he was a jumper, but he has high ringbone and has been ridden as a trail horse for the past several years. He is appropriate for a beginner or intermediate rider, but he has not been ridden for a while, so he is a little rusty. The trainer has started him back under saddle to get his muscle tone back, and he is doing well. He is not spooky and loves to hang out with people.
Amadeus was in rocker shoes with pads, but to cut costs the trainer has transitioned him to shoes without pads. He was on Equioxx, but he has been off of it and is doing fine- if he is ridden regularly, however, he will probably do well to go back on Equioxx. He is healthy and up-to-date on all of his vaccinations, farrier and vet care.
Pictures of Amadeus are below. Please click to see a video of Amadeus. For more information, please fill out Hanaeleh’s horse inquiry form. We will forward all inquiries onto the trainer, who will then contact you directly.
