I am reaching out to anyone that can help. My friend was injured while riding her horse. She fell off her horse and another horse kicked her in the head after she fell. She had no helmet unfortunately. My friend suffered significant brain injuries. It has been 2 weeks since accident and she is still in comma. She has no medical insurance.

Board is due on all 4 of her horses in 2 weeks $1000. The family is in a panic and has asked me to see if I can find a cheap boarding pasture for all 4 of her horses or maybe a feed lease for them for a few months and see if she will recover.

The family doesn’t want to give away her horses if she is able to recover from this. The doctors said they should know more in a few months .

Does anyone have any ideas or know anyone who can help?

The horses are in the Temecula, Ca area. Are there any charities that may be able to help ?
