We are happy to report that Tasha has found a new home! Her owner writes: “Tasha has found a new home. The family are horse people, 4 of them took turns reading her, Tasha was amazing. They fell in love, and the fit was right. Thank you for your help. Rita (HAPPY ENDING AND A NEW HORSE LIFE)”
Thank you to everyone who worked to help find Tasha a new home!
Tasha is a 10 year-old bay Arabian mare. She was rescued eight years ago from a starvation case but since then has doing very well. She is healthy, up-to-date on her vaccinations and farrier care. She is sound. Her teeth were checked recently and the vet said that they won’t need to be floated again until next year.
Tasha’s previous owner was cruel and she has a marking on her nose from his rough handling, but since she has been with the current owner she has had training in ground manners and in the round pen. She has no formal training under saddle, however, and would need someone to train her as a riding horse. She is very sweet and would be a great riding or therapy horse.
Her family is moving out of the state and cannot take Tasha with them. They are heartbroken and want Tasha to find a good home where she will be loved and treated well.
Tasha is not at Hanaeleh- for more information, please contact her owner Rita directly: [email protected]
