Stetson is a 29 year-old Quarter horse who spent most of his life as a lesson horse at a local stable, helping to teach people how to ride. Stetson’s Stall: The Wind vs. Tree vs. Shelter
Yesterday was an exciting day! We thought we had prepared for the wind- all of the tables were turned over, the chairs were stacked, the trash cans were put away. For the past few months we have been trimming trees and cutting back all dead branches. We were pretty confident that the wind would not be an issue. It's been a while since we've done an update on Stetson. Stetson is a 26 year-old gelding who was a lesson horse before he was diagnosed with neurological issues. Although he spent his life working for humans and making them money, his future was very uncertain. We tried to find him a home as a companion horse, but he and the other horse did not get along, and he would get very upset when left by himself. Trabuco Canyon, CA: 25 y/o Gelding Needs Home ASAP
Stetson is a 25 year-old, 16-hand chestnut Thoroughbred gelding who needs a good home. He was a lesson horse for the last few years of his life, but was diagnosed as being neurological, and will trip when ridden, so had to be retired.
