We received an e-mail from a rescue down in San Diego, who was contacted by the local humane society, asking for their help in placing four of their older horses. They have four mares who were all taken from their various owners for neglect. The horses are now up to weight and relatively healthy, but while all of the horses can be handled, for various reasons, they are not rideable.
