This morning in the rain we drove up to Cerritos to pick up a horse. His owner unfortunately was no longer able to care for him due to medical and financial issues, and the family had no choice but to find Jack a new home. They were all very distraught to say goodbye to Jack, but we promised him that we would keep him safe and find him a new, loving family. Jack is an 18 year-old American Creme Draft gelding. Delilah’s Going Away Party!
Delilah has a new home! Please come out and celebrate with us on Saturday from 11-12pm at Hanaeleh. We will give her a lovely send-off before we take her up to her new owner. We're also having an Open House, so please feel free to bring your family as well! We'll have a tour of the facility and talk about some of the horses' stories. Cricket has a new home!
Today we took Cricket to her new home! Her new horsie mom is our volunteer coordinator Kaitlin, who fell in love with Cricket the minute she saw her cute little face (quite literally- she said she fell in love the minute she saw Cricket without her fly mask!).
