Somis, CA: 19 y/o Welsh Pony Needs Home
Parker is a 19 year-old Welsh pony. His current owner has outgrown him, and his family wants him to go to a good home! Parker is a sweet gelding who is great with children and can be ridden by all levels of riders. He is currently being ridden English and is being jumped. Happy Birthday Cricket! (and Quixote!)
Last year today, we picked up Cricket and Quixote from a nearby stable who was going to send the horses to auction to pay for the unpaid board fees. They were both emaciated, had little muscle tone, and were so bonded that it was dangerous to pull either one out of the stall because they would both freak out. Orange County, CA: 7-8 y/o Thoroughbred Gelding- Needs Home!
We received a call that a local stable has a 7-8 year-old Thoroughbred gelding who was abandoned by his owner. Apparently she moved and decided it was too expensive to move him, and too much trouble to bother trying to find him a home beforehand. The woman has signed him off to the stable, and they called us to see if we could take him instead of sending him to the auction.
