Ollie has been at Hanaeleh a little over six months now, and he is doing very well! Ollie will be 15 years old this year, and is an Irish Sport Horse. He is retired at Hanaeleh because he has torn suspensory tendons and navicular (permanently injured legs for our non-horse people). Ollie’s New Shoes
Ollie is a 14 year old Irish Sport Horse who needed a place to live. He is a retired Grand Prix jumper (which meant he was jumping 6 foot jumps!) who had developed navicular and suspensory issues in his front legs, which prevented him from being ridden. Although his owners were committed to caring for him, he was miserable out in a retirement facility where he got very little interaction with humans. Introducing Titan!
We received word this week from our veterinarian about a horse who was in need of a home, due to a long layup needed. His owner was unable to continue to rehab him, so he needed an immediate home. Titan is a 14 year-old Irish Sport Horse/Hanoverian gelding. He was an eventer in his previous life, although his owner solely rode him in dressage.
