We received a call this week from an owner who is looking to rehome his 18 y/o Warmblood gelding. He has been offered money for this guy, but the owner is very choosy about getting his boy the right home, and is more concerned with finding an owner who will be a good fit. Update: Lexie has a home!
We are very pleased to report that Lexie is now at her new home in Menifee, with several horsie friends and a lot of carrots! :) Lexie is a Quarter horse who was taken in as a trade by the owner of a stable in Orange County; when she came up lame, he was going to send her to the auction. She has an enlarged knee and a clubbed right foot, so her most likely end would have been slaughter.
