We took Dulcinea to her new home on Sunday! She got right into the trailer and was very calm during the entire ride. The vet is coming out this week and she will get her teeth floated as well. We picked up Dallas on Saturday afternoon- we are calling her Dulcinea while she is at Hanaeleh as everyone thinks that Dallas is a boy's name. Plus, Arabians believe that they are royalty, so we thought we would give her a princess' name (from Man of La Mancha). She is a very good girl- leads very nicely and hopped right into the trailer! Update: SJC, CA: Dallas- Arabian mare who needs home
Just a quick update on Dallas- I believe we have found a very good home for her! She will be at a private residence, and the owner has Arabians and knows how to help supplement their feed, so Dallas should gain her weight back quite quickly! The only issue we have now is in transport- we need to get Dallas from San Juan Capistrano to Modesto, CA. Dallas is a 14 year-old Arabian mare who needs a home ASAP! She has been ridden on trail and western. Her owner says that she has good ground manners. Dallas has all four shoes (last shod: May 13th). She is NOT up-to-date on her vaccinations and has not had her teeth done in several years.
